To contribute on the development of technology in the Greek ocean transportation industry,
To provide expert representation of the Greek shipping community in its relationships with shipyards, insurers, ﬁnancial institutions, classiﬁcation societies, national and international authorities, maritime courts and arbitrations
To promote its activities within the European Community.

The Association is also aiming to let the wider international shipping community know of the availability of its members to provide services worldwide.
